Revised Rules, Guidelines and Manuals - October 2022
The AFA Committee approved amendments to Rules, Guidelines and Manuals on 10 October 2022.
Rule Amendments
The new On Trial Rules are detailed in the Rule Notification 2022/2 that can be found under the section Rule Notifications and the link is https://www.flyball.org.au/media/notifications/Rule_Notification_2022_2.pdf
The rule amendments related to clarifying which persons are allowed in the ring (Rule 5.1) and the penalties (Rule 9.1) if a team breach rule 5.1.

AFA Guidelines
As part of the ongoing project to simplify the documents on Rules, Policies and Guidelines several AFA Guidelines have been removed as the guidelines have been subsumed into the Rules and Policy re-write. The following guidelines have been removed:
- Farmtek Light System – Checking for Interference
- Timesheets (Timekeepers)
- Signature Timing System (Electronic Judging System)
- Hosting Australian National Flyball Championships

Steward Guidelines
The Steward Guidelines have been updated to ensure consistency with the revised Rules and terminology used.

Timekeepers Manual
The Timekeepers Manual has been updated to ensure consistency with the revised Rules and terminology used and several guidelines have been subsumed.
