Club Profile - "Gone Troppo"

 

Gone Troppo flyball team has been trying to get off the ground for almost three years the problem being that a few members have dropped out because of work and we've had a few dogs die. We where called the gladstone interceptors for a while too. We joined loverdog to help them and us go to a few comp's and get two of our dog's and their handlers experience in the ring. We broke away from them which saved us on travelling cost, As we where travelling 350km or so for training as a full team. Our first comp with loverdog we won our division after having only one training as a full team.

I was the main driving force until just recently as I've been doing flyball with Steve Pitt in Queanbeyan from a year or so before the AFA was founded. I started the Belconnen dog clubs team, before moving to CDC, where I loved working with Kylie White, Ken Peterson the others. then I moved to Gladstone Queensland where I started training.

Our team is still short one dog but we are training up a height dog buddy who is pritty quick so look out Australian record we are coming. lol

We are very interested and happy in helping new teams start up in our area like Bundaberg which is 250kms away.
