The AFA presents annual awards at the Annual General Meeting for:
- Flyball Team of the Year - awarded to the team, who with 4 dogs, has accumulated the most flyball points from 1 July - 30 June.
- Flyball Club of the Year - awarded by the AFA as a thank you to the club who has contributed the most to the sport during the year. This is determined based on the number of competitions attended and hosted and the number of qualified judges.
- Novice Flyball Club of the Year - awarded to a club that first competed in the last 15 months, with the same criteria as the Club of the Year award.
